On their arrival in Cimarron City the Houston family discover that they must wait for government approval before they can stake their land claim and settle in the Strip. Enraged and refusing to wait head of the family Rowan Houston is arrested and jailed by Marshal Crown. When the family up and leave Cimarron Crown tracks them down only to find the family massacred. Episode eleven of the 1960s feature-length American western series following the adventures of Marshal Jim Crown (Stuart Whitman). The Houston family arrive in Cimarron to find that they are unable to make their land claim until permission is passed by the government. When the head of the family refuses to wait, Crown arrests him. The rest of the family then break him out of jail and head for the Mocane Valley. Crown goes in search of the runaways but when he catches up with them he finds they have been slaughtered.
