Low-budget US sci-fi action. A giant queen crab, that has been scientifically enhanced, is woken from its slumber and unleashes her fury upon the nearby townspeople. The sheriff (Ken Van Sant)'s investigation leads him to Melissa Webber (Michelle Simone Miller) who may have been harbouring the giant creature for a number of years. When more baby crabs begin to hatch, the town are forced to call upon the might of the military to save them from annihilation but will they be able to stop it?
