Based on by Australian author Tim Winton's award-winning novel, CLOUDSTREET is a three-part drama about two rural families who take up residence together in a sprawling house in Perth. Spanning the 1940s and 1950s, the story tells of the Lambs and the Pickles' changing fortunes, and how their unusual living situation creates both conflict and deep friendships. Age Rating 15

Three-part Australian mini-series adapted by Tim Winton from his 1991 novel. The series tells the story of the intertwining lives of two working-class families who live together at One Cloud Street in the Perth suburb of West Leederville over a 20-year period from the mid-1940s to the 1960s. The two families could not be more different: the Lambs are sober, industrious and devoutly religious, while the Pickles clan, headed by patriarch and inveterate gambler Sam (Stephen Curry), are 'nothing but trouble'. But as the 'shifty shadow' of fate moves over them, with world events and personal tragedies unfolding around them, both families somehow manage to retain their warmth and humanity as they negotiate their way through life's many trials and tribulations.
