Wit, bon vivant, social gadfly, master of the mystic arts and star of stage and screen Count Arthur Strong is none of these, though he likes to think he is... Steve Delaney returns as the pompously delusional Count Arthur in this BAFTA-nominated sitcom written by Delaney and Graham Linehan (Father Ted, The IT Crowd). Co-starring Rory Kinnear as Michael, a perpetually nervous writer and the son of Arthur's late comedy partner, this complete second series contains all seven episodes, complete and uncut. Currently resting on his ample laurels, with the next big thing... only a phone call away, Arthur whiles away his time by writing a novel full of damaging showbiz gossip much to Michael's horror! Brushes with politics and a disastrous flying lesson pale into insignificance, however, when Arthur has to move in with Michael in the aftermath of yet another 'trouser fire'... After a life spent resolutely denying his own infallibility, 72-year-old thespian Count Arthur Strong (Delaney), beset by memory loss and delusions of grandeur, is tracked down by his former variety partner's son Michael (Rory Kinnear) who is writing a biography on his late father's life and wishes Arthur to contribute some anecdotes. But as Michael attempts to gain insight into his father's life from the man who knew him best, he finds himself trapped in the chaotic maelstrom that constitutes Arthur's world. The episodes are: 'The Heist', 'The Day the Clocks Went Back', 'We're Listening', 'Stuck in the Middle', 'Still Life', 'The Affair' and 'Fame at Last'.
