Double bill of British thrillers. 'Crow Hollow' (1952), directed by Michael McCarthy, follows newly-wed Ann Amour (Natasha Parry) as she goes to stay at the ancient home of her husband Robert (Donald Houston) and his three eccentric aunts. The stay proves to be traumatic for Ann, who becomes convinced that her life is in danger after a maid dies in mysterious circumstances and various other strange events occur in the house. 'Castle Sinister' (1948), directed by Oscar Burn, follows events at the remote and menacing Glennye Castle. The castle is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a dead monk, but the British agent who is sent to Glennye during the Second World War is more interested in the German spy who may be in residence. What secrets will the castle reveal?
