The 6th June 1944 has gone down in history as D Day the beginning of the end of World War II. Code-named Operation Overlord the Normandy Invasion took the Germany Army completely by surprise as British American Canadian and Allied soldiers from all over the world stormed the beaches of Utah Omaha Gold Juno and Sword.
