Crime thriller from cult director Takashi Miike. When Kunisada (Riki Takeuchi) discovers that his Yakuza boss has been killed, he becomes determined to avenge his death. However, as Kunisada tracks down his rivals, he reveals dodgy dealings within his own gang which results in him being pursued on an increasingly dangerous path of revenge. Finally, Kunisada finds himself face to face with his enemies. The film's soundtrack has been provided by Japanese progressive rockers Flower Travellin' Band.
