During the day Dexter is a blood splatter analyst at the Miami Metropolitan Police Department's crime lab, but this is just a front for his true lifestyle. By night Dexter is actually an efficient, serial killing psychopath who murders the criminals he tracks down whilst working with the police. Dexter follows a precise moral code taught to him by his late father Harry which means he only kills unrepentant murders who repeatedly offend.
This Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning show is a dark, twisted adaptation of Jeff Lindsay's novels.
Season 2: Dexter struggles with his life as a serial killer. He begins to doubt his capabilities and finds it difficult to come to terms with his agonising past. What's more, when evidence of his murders surface, the FBI is drafted in to investigate the "new" serial killer christened the "Bay Harbor Butcher" - but will they ever suspect Dexter?
Season 3: "I need to find out what it's like just to be normal. If that's something that's even possible for me," says Dexter, but is he ready to put his murderous past behind him and settle down with Rita? Or will the pressure be too much for our lovable Psychopath?
