1930s classic screwball comedy starring Jean Arthur, Ray Milland and Edward Arnold. Angry at his wife for frivolously spending a vast sum of money on yet another fur coat, wealthy banker J.B. Ball (Arnold) throws the garment out of the window where it lands on magazine employee Mary Smith (Arthur). Mary goes to return the coat but J.B. insists that she should keep it. Chaos ensues when she subsequently gets mistaken for his mistress and, unaware of the connection between the two of them, becomes romantically involved with his son John (Milland).
