Documentary about the history of Cannon Films. Founded by Dennis Friedland and Chris Dewey in 1967, Cannon Films quickly became one of the most successful production companies in the movie business until a string of unsuccessful ventures put their finances at risk. In 1979, Israeli cousins Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus bought the company and began producing a high volume of films, known now as 'B movies', on an extremely low budget. Contributions from actors including Bo Derek, Mimi Rogers, Richard Chamberlain and Molly Ringwald are incorporated into archive footage and film clips to form this in-depth documentary.
