Sophisticated stylish sultry and sexy En Vogue were the most successful girl group of the Nineties notching up a string of hit singles around the world and amassing album sales in excess of eight million. Carrying on the girl group tradition popularised by such Sixties groups as The Supremes and The Ronettes En Vogue owe a lot of their success to their skilful blending of contemporary R & B with elements of hip-hop which gave them credibility with hip club and dance audiences. En Vogue has been a major musical and style influence on All Saints and indeed on most other... contemporary girl groups. En Vogue - Cindy Herron-Braggs Terry Ellis & Amanda Cole - is featured in a concert they gave in Birmingham Alabama in December of 2002 at which they performed a program of their most popular songs including their six US Top Ten hits. These include 'Hold On' 'My Lovin' and 'Don't Let Go' - each of which made #2 in the U.S. charts as well as an eleven-minute version of 'Giving Him Something He Can Feel'. Tracklist: 1.My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It) 2.Whatta Man 3.Free Your Mind 4.Merry Christmas 5.Medley: Best Of My Love I Heard It Through The Grapevine Respect 6.Lady Marmalade 7.Tell Me Something Good 8.Free 9.Square Biz 10.Giving Him Something He Can Feel 11.Just Stay Away 12.Don't Let Go 13.Hold On 14.Never Stop (duet with N-Jay Brusco) [show more]
