Formed by drummer Pinch (who later went on to play with The Damned) in the early eighties the English Dogs blazed onto the punk scene with a hyper-aggressive sound. Their debut 12"" 'Mad Punx and English Dogs' (1983) was a critical and indie-chart success. Led by cult guitar hero Gizz Butt they became one of the most exhilarating bands on the scene. By the late 90's Butt had joined forces with The Prodigy and the English Dogs had reformed as Janus Stark. Released for the first time on DVD 'Psycho Killer' features two full gigs from the band. The first was shot... at Castle rock Edinburgh 13 August 1994 when the band was a four piece.
