Forced to make a living as a hustler on the streets of Los Angeles, Ethan is soon befriended by drug dealer Remigio (Jerry Hernandez), who gradually begins to fall in love with him. When Ethan hears that his estranged family are going to be out of town, he takes Remigio back to his old house so he can collect some of his belongings and his dead mother's diamond ring. But when his family unexpectedly return, Ethan is forced to hold them hostage overnight, accidentally shooting his father (Raymond Ma) in the process. As the night progresses, Ethan is forced to confront his family and his own inner demons.
