A Briga soldier, Skellig (Kevin Durand), accompanies the small band after forging an uneasy truce with Khara. As they struggle across the land in the search for answers to their existence, they encounter raging storms, fierce giants, and mechanical mayhem. Mamoru Oshii directs this sci-fi adventure that blends live action with animated sequences. On the planet Annwn, the three remaining tribes of the Garm - the Briga, the Columba and the Kumtak - are locked in an eternal battle. When an elderly Kumtak man, Wydd (Lance Henriksen), is captured by the Columba along with his travelling companions - a dog with special powers and Nascien (Summer H. Howell), a young girl claiming to be the last remaining Druid - Columba clone Khara (Melanie St-Pierre) agrees to protect this strange party who are on their way to the land of the Druids in the hope of solving the mystery of the conflict and restoring peace to Annwn.
