Throughout the 1950s, filmmaker John Tate travelled around Europe recording the great motor racing events of the day at circuits including Snetterton, Goodwood and Silverstone. In this volume, Tate charts the transition in the sport from the gifted amateurs of the early days, to the rise of the factory teams who would come to dominate the sport in later years.
