He only wants what's best for his daughter, Theresa, which is why he checks out her current boyfriend's credentials before he has even met him. While he seems perfect on paper, paper conceals the fact that he's white... Age Rating 15

Comedy starring Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher. When his daughter Theresa (Zoe Saldana) brings her new boyfriend Simon Green (Kutcher) home to meet the parents, Percy (Mac) and his wife Marilyn (Judith Scott) are unaware that Simon has already proposed to Theresa and plans to announce the engagement at Percy and Marilyn's 25th anniversary party. Although protective of his daughter, Percy is looking forward to the meeting, but is aghast and more than a little indignant when his daughter presents her decidedly Caucasian boyfriend. Once he is over his initial shock, Percy begins interrogating Simon about his family history, education, career and favourite sports. Feeling pressurised to impress his father-in-law, Simon boasts of his (non-existent) past as a NASCAR driver, which only serves to arouse Percy's suspicions. Regardless, Simon's attempts to make a good impression are futile. Percy rebuffs him at every turn and makes it his mission to expose Simon as a fraud and undermine his daughter's new relationship.
