Happy Mondays were along with the Stone Roses the defining band of the Madchester scene in the late eighties and early nineties. Their music combined rock and house elements in a unique fusion which coupled with Shaun Ryder's biting lyrics became the soundtrack of the era. This DVD captures the band on their first American tour in 1990 in support of their bestselling album Pills 'n' Thrills And Bellyaches. It combines brilliant full performance footage from The Sound Factory in New York with behind the scenes material to give a really intimate portrait of the band... at their peak. There are also cameo appearances from Keith Allen and the late Tony Wilson founder of Factory Records. Tracklist: 1. Step On 2. Clap Your Hands 3. Kinky Afro 4. Lazyitis 5. Rave On 6. Do It Better 7.
