Thriller in which an alcoholic Boston police detective is put out to pasture in a small town only to find himself caught up in a murder mystery. Ian Martin (Wade Williams) is struggling badly with drinking and it is affecting his work. A transfer is arranged to send him back to his hometown, with the intention that he see out the last few years of his career in a place where no major crimes have been reported for years. Things don't work out this way, however, as Martin finds himself investigating the disappearance of local girl Allison Stone (Stephanie Lemelin).
