Documentary examining the life of soldiers in combat in Afghanistan and the impact of their experiences when they return home. At the centre of the documentary is Sergeant Nathan Harris, a military veteran who receives a severe injury to his leg while leading his platoon. After the intensity and danger of Afghanistan, captured by director Danfung Dennis on a tour embedded with a battalion in the south of the country, the film follows Harris back to the United States. The process of recovery is slow and painful, but Harris has the support of his wife, Ashley. Soon he is even dreaming of heading back to the front lines...
