All 17 episodes of the 1970s children's comedy adventure series following the musical escapades of a gang of seven London children whose secret clubhouse is an abandoned double decker bus in a junkyard. The adventures of Brains (Michael Audreson), Billie (Gillian Bailey), Doughnut (Douglas Simmonds), Sticks (Bruce Clark), Scooper (Peter Firth), Spring (Brinsley Forde) and Tiger (Debbie Russ), who are often joined by Albert the street sweeper (Melvyn Hayes), always involve a cheerful mix of singing and detective work. Brinsley Forde, who plays Spring, went on to become the lead singer of reggae group Aswad.
