Eve Tozer (Armstrong) is a headstrong society heiress forced to take dramatic measures to find her missing father Bradley (Wilford Brimley) before the underhand schemes of his business partner Bentik (Robert Morley) rob her of her inheritance. She duly enlists the services of Patrick O'Malley (Selleck), a top pilot with issues of his own, to accompany her on a multinational quest to locate the eccentric Bradley. Their odyssey takes them from Istanbul to China and into a number of scrapes and dangerous situations. Will they find their man?
