A small sleepy town in Wyoming is just no place for a young man with dreams of playing the timbale drums in a salsa band. Seizing his destiny Harlan (Randy Spelling) packs up his car bids the Midwest adios and heads west to the Mecca of showbiz wannabes everywhere: Los Angeles. Action comedy about a young man who moves to L.A. to play Latin music and ends up being pursued by shady jewel thieves, psychopathic hitmen and a dangerous femme fatale. Stopping along the way at a roadside cafe, he meets Jude (Jason Priestley), a thief on the run who, unbeknownst to Harlan, hides a small bag of diamonds in Harlan's car. Arriving in L.A., ready to start jamming with the local talent, Harlan is unaware that his life is about to become very complicated indeed...
