Whilst preparing a surprise 40th birthday party for his wife Bex (Catz), devoted husband Murray (Miller) arrives home from work to discover his wife is planning to leave him. In total denial that Bex will actually give up on their marriage, Murray tries to cancel the party and resolves to win her back by any means necessary. Instead, the couple are forced to uncomfortably hide the truth from their families as the party goes ahead and Bex appears reluctant to give her work-obsessed husband another chance.
