A look at one of America's top rock bands. In 2007, instead of doing their usual tour, Smashing Pumpkins decided to play two residencies in Asheville, North Carolina and in San Francisco, California. The film shows the band at the height of its powers at the same time as the band members are having a major crisis of confidence. Interviews with founder members Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin, as well as with the new band members, give an unusual insight into what keeps the band going forward to the future.
