Three-part BBC documentary series inspired by 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' (2011) in which eight senior celebrities experience retirement in India. Narrated by actor Tom Hollander, the programme follows the famous faces across three weeks as they test out all the country has to offer them and compare it to retirement back in the UK. During their stay, the celebrities try their hands at yoga and haggling and visit some iconic sites before reflecting upon the realities of retiring to India.
