Abduction thriller directed by Ruba Nadda and starring Alexander Siddig. Former Syrian intelligence officer Adib (Siddig) now works as an IT manager for a bank in Toronto after fleeing his home country over 20 years previously. When he receives a phone call explaining to him that his daughter has disappeared in Damascus he is faced with the prospect of returning and facing his past. While he commences his search, he is reunited with his former lover, Fatima (Marisa Tomei), and is abetted by Canadian embassy worker Paul (Joshua Jackson).
