Josef Rusnack's remake of Larry Cohen's 1974 cult horror, It's Alive, tones down the comedy and ramps up the guts, updating the subversive tale for a modern audience. This grisly and gruesome update tells the story of Lenore (Bijou Phillips, Hostel: Part II), a woman who seemingly has everything she ever wanted: a beautiful home, a loving boyfriend (James Murray of TV's Primeval) and a baby on the way. The fate of the happy family takes a gory turn when animals and people end up brutally dead - all with a strange connection to their newborn. Could their new addition be the monster responsible for the gruesome murders?

Remake of Larry Cohen's cult 1970s shocker. Bijou Phillips stars as Lenore Harker, a young woman with everything she ever wanted: a beautiful home, a devoted boyfriend, Frank (James Murray), and a baby on the way. However, events take a gory turn when animals and people start turning up brutally dead shortly after the new baby's birth. Could the baby possibly be responsible for these gruesome murders?
