Double bill of dramas starring the first Chinese-American movie star, Anna May Wong. In 'Java Head' (1934), noble Chinese girl Tapu Xuen (Wong) marries the wealthy son of an English ship owner, and faces local contempt when she returns with her husband to Bristol. In 'Tiger Bay' (1934), young Englishman Michael (Victor Garland) falls for the foster-sister of a Chinese nightclub owner. Unfortunately the owner, Lui Chang (Wong), is the target of a gang of protection racketeers determined to bleed her dry.
