All ten episodes from the fifth series of this popular TV series about Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge) who insists on pronouncing her surname 'Bouquet' - an infernal snob out to irritate her neighbours and her hen-pecked husband, Richard (Clive Swift). Episode 1: When Hyacinth volunteers to help with a senior citizens day trip to the coast, she has to enter into the spirit of things rather more than she had planned (especially with an amorous Italian pensioner at her heels). Episode 2: Hyacinth suddenly has a lot on her hands: attending the Mayor's fancy dress ball and getting to know an important new neighbour. Episode 3: Richard forgets their wedding anniversary. Episode 4: Holding a river-side picnic seems like a good idea, but Hyacinth's arrangements don't go quite as she planned. Episode 5: Richard isn't exactly thrilled with his birthday present, but that's only the start of a series of problems. Episode 6: Richard is worried that Hyacinth's attendance at an exclusive auction is going to cost him a lot of money. Daisy and Rose meet a woman who claims that their father has promised to marry her. Episode 7: Hyacinth gets excited when she learns that her next-door neighbour Emmet is rehearsing an amateur production of the musical 'The Boyfriend'. Episode 8: Hyacinth still wants to join Emmet's production of 'The Boyfriend', but fortunately for him, other things have to take priority. Episode 9: When Hyacinth decides that a new car is in order, she aims a bit higher than most people, much to Richard's horror. Episode 10: Hyacinth decides to share her undoubted experience of being a perfect hostess and advertises in the local paper.
