Nicolas Cage, Rose Byrne, Ben Mendelsohn and Terry Camilleri star in Alex Proyas' gripping action-thriller, 'Knowing', which follows a professor (Cage) who comes across a document that predicts devastating future events, which he sets out to prevent. As part of a dedication ceremony for their elementary school, a class of children in 1958 are asked to draw pictures that are to be stored in a time casual. The children set to work drawing pictures of themselves and their favorite things, but one girl, as if possessed, fills a sheet of paper with rows and rows of... seemingly random numbers. Fifty years on, a new class unearths the time capsule, sharing the content's between them. Whilst others enjoy their pictures and letters, the cryptic message ends up with young Caleb Koestler. Caleb's father, Professor John Koestler, comes across the document and deciphers the codes, discovering that the numbers are not random at all, but predict every major disaster, showing the date, death tolls and coordinates of each event, throughout the 50 years. Not only that, at the bottom of the document, it indicates that there are three disasters left, the last one an apocalypse that is directly linked to John and his son.
