Crime drama spin-off from the 'Kojak' television series, directed by Alan Metzger and starring Telly Savalas, Kate Nelligan and Pat Hingle. New York detective Theo Kojak (Savalas) is tasked with investigating the murders of Kitty Keeler (Nelligan)'s two young sons, a crime of which Kitty herself is thought to be guilty. Her behaviour does not match what is expected of a grieving mother but Kojak is determined to get to the bottom of the case without relying on such assumptions. Despite his professionalism, Kojak begins to harbour some sympathy for Kitty and perhaps even feels something more meaningful for the woman at the heart of his investigation.
