KURBAAN is a tense Bollywood thriller set against the global threat of terrorism. Avantika (Kareena Kapoor) returns from the US to Delhi after her father's heart attack. Whilst there she meets and falls in love with Ehsaan (Saif Ali Khan), a Muslim professor at Delhi University. When it comes time to fly back home, Eshaan proposes and the couple return to the US as husband and wife.
