Argentinian drama set amongst the eccentric, withdrawn employees of the Hotel Las Termas. Fifteen-year-old Amalia (Maria Alche) is a young girl dealing with the conflicts between her heartfelt Catholicism and her awakening sexuality, who befriends the disgraced Dr Jano (Carlos Belloso), a guest at the hotel, whose sexual misadventures are beginning to cause him remorse. Finding herself drawn to the doctor, Amalia begins to spy on him, although Jano is more interested in the girl's mother (Mercedes Moran). Before long, this complex pattern of relationships begins to unravel, as Amalia's obsession leads to an emotionally devastating conclusion.
