The zombies are back and they're still hungry in this horror from maestro George A. Romero.
Land of the Dead.
The Fourth in George Romero's "Living Dead" series of films, that started with "Night of the Living Dead" back in 1968, see's the dead having completely over-run the world, and the last remanants of humanity living in a heavily defended city.
With the dead massing outside the city walls begining to evolve into a more intelligent species, humanities troubles are compounded when a rogue mercenary steals the militaries main battle tank, a vehicle named Dead Reckoning, and tries to hold the city to ransom.
But when the zombies break in and over run the cities defences, it becomes a race against time to get Dead Reckoning back and pacify the situation before civiisations last outpost becomes just another dead city.
Zombie film fans should love it. Althogh it lacks the "epic" feel of Romero's other zombie movies.
