New York City playboy and professional charmer Jack Frost (Jason Behr) is shattered to discover that his one true love (Monet Mazur) is about to marry another man. As the news send Jack spiraling into a self-destructive cycle of reckless behavior, his best friends decide to find a way of cheering him up. However redemption comes from an unlikely source in the form of Jack's eleven year old neighbor. Sophie's wise and thoughtful words help Jack to see a different way out of his troubles and take control of his life.

Filled with self-pity, Jack's behaviour quickly tips from the hedonistic to the destructive, to the concern of his friends, Scotch (Mike Landry), Ozzy (Krysten Ritter) and Kate (Lucy Gordon). Salvation appears in an unlikely form. As Ozzy gets to know his eleven year old neighbour, Sophie (India Ennenga), his perspective on life begins to change.
