French drama in which Jean (Jérémie Elkaïm), a Jewish man, reflects on the Second World War through his sister's diary written in 1942 in Nazi-occupied France. After falling in love with Hans (Grégory Barboza), a German officer who has been forced to join the SS, Jean's sister (Deborah Durand) changes her name to Louise Berger and enters a safe house to avoid being captured by the Nazis. Despite the dangers, Hans visits Louise and their relationship grows stronger.
