Directed by Dominic Savage, this modern love story is set against the racial tensions of a small town in Northern England. Seventeen-year-old Naseema (Samina Awan) is a young Muslim woman who works in the same DIY shop as Adam (Tom Hudson), who is a typical product of a home and community in which racism and bigotry are not only firmly entrenched but are actively encouraged. Despite their differences, the two find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other. The relationship that develops betwen them not only challenges their personal values but threatens to tear apart the very fabric of their lives and families.
