All ten episodes from the first series of the US TV drama based on the 2006 British miniseries. Mark Strong plays Frank Agnew, a Detroit homicide detective who prefers to play things by the book. However, when his girlfriend is brutally murdered and it appears that the culprit is a fellow detective, Brendan McCann (Michael McGrady), his attitude alters significantly. With the encouragement and assistance of McCann's former partner Joe Geddes (Lennie James), Agnew takes his revenge on McCann. However, it soon occurs to Frank that Geddes may have had other reasons for wanting McCann dead, one of the many complications to emerge as Agnew is handed responsibility for investigating a crime he committed himself.
