Documentary following numerous groups of people as they make the pilgrimage to the Manakamana Temple in Nepal to make offerings to the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati. Although it used to take pilgrims three to four hours to reach the temple, the introduction of a cable car imported from Austria has reduced the journey to ten minutes. The film focuses on the various groups as they travel to and from the temple in the cable car, providing insight into their reasons for making the journey.
