Michel Gondry writes and directs this French coming-of-age comedy about two teenage friends. Androgynous loner Daniel 'Microbe' (Ange Dargent), who gets picked on by his fellow school students, forms an unlikely friendship with cool new classmate Théo 'Gasoline' (Théophile Baquet). Together they build a caravan-type vehicle and go on a journey across the country. The film includes an appearance by Audrey Tautou as Microbe's mother.
