Susan Sarandon stars in this comedy drama as a financially irresponsible mother who embezzles her youngest daughter's college fund in a bid to launch her eldest daughter Taylor (Willa Holland)'s modelling career. Grace (Eva Amurri) has always wanted to be a doctor, and has worked hard to achieve the grades she needs to get into college. But her mother's poor credit history means she cannot access the student loan she needs to fund her course. When she meets teen rebel and neighbourhood pot dealer Dorian (Anton Yelchin), he suggests that she become his driver for the summer, and - with no other way to raise the $12,000 she needs to pay her tuition fees - Grace reluctantly agrees. At first their entrepreneurial venture proves wildly profitable, but things start to unravel when long-hidden family secrets come back to haunt them both.
