Formed in Sydney in 1971 and originally entitled Farm they rechristened themselves in 1978 and 'Midnight Oil' as we know it was born. Although they had a gold record in Australia in 1979 with 'Cold Cold Heart' it wasn't until 1987's 'Diesel & Dust' that the world took notice. This album spawned the massive 'Beds Are Burning' perhaps their most well-known hit. This promo as well as seven other tracks from later albums including 'Blue Sky Mining' are included on this collection.
