Mid-1960s comedy adventure based on Peter O'Donnell's comic strip. When former crime boss and sassy spy Modesty Blaise (Monica Vitti) is recruited by the British intelligence services to help prevent a diamond heist by a notorious international gang led by Gabriel (Dirk Bogarde), she quickly realises that she has been set up - and responds by recruiting the services of expert knife-thrower and master of disguise Willie Garvin (Terence Stamp) to help her outsmart them.
