This is the second series of BAFTA winner Brendan O'Carroll's outrageously funny Irish sitcom which aired on BBC1 in 2011-2012. Watch irrepressible Agnes Brown, Dublin's proudest, most overbearing Mammy, as she does her utmost to "help" and "advise" her beloved long suffering children (or more accurately - meddle in their lives). At the same time she cannot help but wreak havoc in the lives of her friends, her in-laws and neighbours.
The series is based on and still resembles a raw-edged theatre production - there is much ad-libbing and inventive improvisation.... Most of the original stage show cast have been retained and these include several members of Carroll's own family; his wife, son, daughter and sister.
This side-splittingly hilarious comedy is almost guaranteed to have you laughing out loud. Beware though it is rather crude and extremely rude at times so may not be for everyone!
