Join Mrs Santa Claus on an exhilarating and spellbinding adventure that will bring out the Christmas spirit in all the family. It's been said that behind every great man there's a great woman. But then there's Mrs Santa Claus (Angela Lansbury), who's not content just to stay in the background. When left feeling undervalued by her husband, Mrs Claus sets out to prove that even Santa (Charles Durning) needs help to make Christmas run smoothly. Leaving her North Pole home behind, she heads to New York. Enchanted by the friendly folk she meets but deeply moved by their plight, she begins working her magic, helping to spread the Christmas spirit and make people's lives a little bit happier. This magical festive adventure also features music by Jerry Herman, the Grammy award-winning composer of 'Hello Dolly', and includes the classic songs "Almost Young" and "He Needs Me".

Angela Lansbury stars in this seasonal family musical set in the early 1900s. Santa Claus (Charles Durning) is so busy preparing for his annual toy delivery that he has been neglecting his wife, Mrs Claus (Lansbury). Determined to have an adventure of her own, Mrs Claus takes the reindeer and sleigh out for a drive, but is forced to make an emergency landing in New York. There she takes lodgings with a family of Jewish immigrants who don't celebrate Christmas, befriends many of the local children and women and becomes involved with political issues of the day such as forced child labour and the women's suffrage movement.
