Collection of three films directed by Pablo Larraín. In 'Tony Manero' (2008), Alfredo Castro stars as Raul Peralta, a middle-aged Santiago low-life who becomes obsessed with impersonating Tony Manero, the character played by John Travolta in the hit film 'Saturday Night Fever' (1977). When the national television channel announces a contest for the best impersonation of Tony Manero's dance moves, Raul's obsession reaches new heights and he is driven to commit a series of increasingly brutal crimes to ensure his success. 'Post Mortem' (2010) is set in 1973 during the last days of the rule of soon-to-be-overthrown President Salvador Allende. Mario (Castro) is a solitary morgue employee whose obsession with his next-door neighbour, cabaret dancer Nancy Puelma (Antonia Zegers), unfolds while the nation is on the verge of political and economic collapse. 'No' (2012) is set against the backdrop of the Chilean national plebiscite of 1988. Forced to hold a referendum due to external pressures, the Chilean dictator, Augusto Pinochet, allowed both sides of the debate a 15-minute slot on TV to argue for and against his rule. Rene Saavedra, here portrayed by Gael García Bernal, was the advertising executive who led the 'no' campaign and was forced to deal with pressures himself while doing so. Selling the campaign much like any other commodity, Rene succeeded in his goal which led to the liberation of Chile from dictatorial rule with 55% of the vote.
