Chilean-American drama from writer/director Sebastian Silva, who also stars. Freddy (Silva) and Mo (Tunde Adebimpe) are a gay couple living in New York who want to have a baby with the help of their friend Polly (Kristen Wiig). When it transpires that Freddy's sperm count isn't high enough they begin to seek other options, to the chagrin of their less progressive crazy old neighbour who calls himself 'the Bishop' (Reg E. Cathey). The Bishop goes out of his way to make things difficult for the trio, while Freddy continues to work on his new performance art piece, 'Nasty Baby', which involves him imagining himself as an infant.
