Michael Whyte directs this documentary portrait of daily life at a central London convent. The Monastery of the Most Holy Trinity in Notting Hill Gate is home to a cloistered order of Carmelite nuns whose lives are dedicated to prayer and contemplation. Free from accompanying music or narration, Whyte's film offers a simple fly-on-the-wall depiction of the nuns as they go about their quiet, ordered lives in the heart of a pulsing modern city.
