Not Going Out- The Christmas Specials comprises a triple-bill of Christmas episodes from the hit Royal Television Society and Rose d’Or award winning BBC sitcom.   Murder at Christmas   Lee (Lee Mack) hits on a plan to spend some time alone with Lucy (Sally Bretton) at Christmas. However plans change when Lucy’s parents (Timothy West and Deborah Grant) decide to cancel their skiing holiday and decide to join their offspring for the holidays. With a full house to entertain, Lucy calls in Barbara (Miranda Hart) to cook Christmas dinner, a decision they may later regret. All seems to be going well for Lucy and Lee until a murder mystery game brings family tensions to a head.   Absent Father Christmas   Lee’s father (Bobby Ball) makes an impromptu appearance at the flat. This is the man who walked out of the family home when Lee was four, never paid his maintenance and ate Lee’s goldfish. Lee wants him out of the flat, but Lucy tells him that the only way forward is to forgive and forget.   The House   In an effort to create the perfect Christmas for Lucy,Lee invites her parents to join the two of them and Daisy (Katy Wix) in a snug old house in the country which used to belong to his deceased aunt. Christmas spirit is in short supply, and their visit takes a turn for the worse as Lucy discovers that the house has not been lived in for years and there appears to be a spooky presence.
