The surviving episodes of the BBC sitcom starring Wendy Craig as a harassed middle-class mother. Jennifer Corner (Craig) and her husband, art teacher Henry (Paul Daneman/Ronald Hines), are proud parents to three young children. However, with her husband preoccupied at work, a new baby on the way and an unruly brood to manage while also overseeing a move to a new house, the patience of housewife Jennifer will be stretched to breaking point as she attempts to deal with the challenges put before her. Though over 38 episodes of the series were broadcast only eight survive.
